The Lloyds of London Building - September 2011


Finally participated in an Open House weekend. The Lloyds building was an obvious choice, given its iconic status and how much I enjoyed the Pompidou when in Paris earlier this year. I also had a bit of a nose around The Sanderson (postmodern, kitsch interior, but an interesting history) and the Zog House.  I'm hoping that one day, post-lottery win, I might have a Zog House all of my very own...

Padlocks on the Pont des Arts.  These were attached to the railings all along the bridge, each had one had the initials of loved ones scratched into the surface.
